I think it'd be incredibly funny if Nevertheless was, in the end, a story abt how heterosexual stereotypical 'love' is toxic and it was a front all along for the actual love story which is a wlw romance of two best friends figuring out they are in love with each other in a way that's more fleshed out and emotionally complex & moving than the 'main pairing' lol that'd be hilarious. con of the century I'd say.
